SUMMARY:O\, Miami Greenhouse Closing Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The O\, Miami Greenhouse is a Green Family Foundation funded guided self-study program for South Florida creatives of all disciplines aged 18 – 25. The program is open to individuals regardless of intersectionality. Through one-on-one mentorship\, professional development\, and access to Miami artists and arts spaces\, the Greenhouse program cultivates the skills and projects of budding Miami creatives across artistic disciplines as each develops a personal artistic project over the course of the program. The Greenhouse Closing Celebration gathers the larger Greenhouse community — mentors\, alums\, and the special guests of the cohort — to witness Greenhouse creatives’ presentation of the projects they’ve developed all summer. \n  \nO\, Miami celebrates South Florida through the empathy-building power of poetry. We educate and engage communities by hosting programs and providing resources for people to identify and express themselves through poetry. We then publish that poetry in public spaces and in books. Our work invests in collaborative narratives of place\, to create a more equitable future. Year-round we operate as a publisher and education organization\, creating opportunities for people to come together through poetry and providing free resources for families and teachers. In April we celebrate the fruits of that work with our annual O\, Miami Poetry Festival.

SUMMARY:Artist As Catalyst
DESCRIPTION:Catalyst Artist as Catalyst (AAC) is The Peace Studio’s flagship regional initiative designed to equip young storytellers\, artists\, and cultural catalysts (ages 18–30) with the tools\, opportunity\, and community to use their craft in the service of peace building. Hosted in different cities across the US\, AAC is a multi-day immersive experience that supports early-career artists\, journalists\, and creative leaders across disciplines in cultivating identity-rooted storytelling\, interdisciplinary collaboration\, and cultural transformation. \n  \nBuilt upon years of iteration and rooted in local context\, the AAC program blends artistic rigor with restorative\npractices. Participants engage in a unique blend of workshops\, keynotes\, collaborative labs\, and community events — all within a dynamic and diverse environment. With city-specific creative direction and cross-cohort follow-up support\, AAC fosters a new generation of artist-leaders using story to shift culture and activate change.
