SUMMARY:DISplace Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:A celebration of the annual open call group show of ten Miami artists. The 2023 open call is titled “DISplace”.  Through their work\, these artists explored the theme of displacement and the complexities of home\, identity and resilience in the dynamic city of Miami.\nThe evening includes a live multi-disciplinary performance of “DISplace” by the artist Arsimmer McCoy. “There’s a leak in this old Building” featuring instrumentalist\, songwriter\, & producer King Friday is a cry out against the narrative of hopelessness and a call on the power of spirit and grit. \n  \nThe ten awardees of the 2023 Green Space Miami Open Call are: \nAsser Saint-Val\nCarolina Cueva\nDudley Alexis\nEnma Saiz\nJacob Stiltner\nKarla Kantorovich\nMaría Gabriela Chérrez\nPremonition Bureau\nSydney Maubert\nXiomara Forbez
