Want to try a different type of mango? Do you have mango swag to swap?
Join The Things Lab and Miami Time Swap for Mango Swap, in collaboration with Jayme Kaye Gershen in her immersive exhibition, When Mangos Last in My Backyard Bloom’d!
Bring as many mangos and mango-flavored goodies as you want, and/or no more than 10 gently used mango-themed items – things that are clean, functional, and ready for a new home! You can also come without mango things to swap and make a Pay What You Value tax deductible donation to The Things Lab for things you take home.
Be kind, respect everyone’s finds, and enjoy the good vibes!
Any leftover mango delectables will be eaten or donated to Miami Community Fridges and any leftover mango-inspired things to local thrift stores. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed items home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!
Followed by a Mango Poetry Slam hosted by The Biscayne Poet from 7-9pm.
