ProjectArt invites you to the opening reception of Told, Retold: The Pedagogy of Knowing and Becoming featuring new works from Katherine “Neco” Kafruni, Isabella Marie García, Ashley Castañeda, Agua Dulce, Jevon Brown and their students from Miami Public Library locations, North Central, Shenandoah, Naranja, Kendall and Culmer/Overtown Branches.

Developed through ProjectArt’s library-based residency program, the exhibition highlights parallel practices in teaching and making. Please join us to view the work and celebrate the conclusion of this year’s residency. ProjectArt is a national award-winning arts education nonprofit that partners with public libraries to provide free, afterschool art classes for underserved youth while supporting practicing artists through residencies.
